In the realm of floral design, my love for blossoms is no secret. It serves as a delightful escape, a tranquil haven where reality fades away. Even in the whirlwind of wedding preparations, this never feels like work. Witnessing the transformation that my creations bestow upon my clients' faces is, without doubt, the pinnacle of gratification. Their expressions of gratitude resonate deeply, a testament to the seamless cohesion my work lends to their envisioned themes.
Behind the curtain of the floral spectacle lies a meticulous tapestry of undertakings. From the initial dialogues with clients, woven through text and countless emails, to the bespoke one-on-one consultations and the intricacies of quoting, ordering, colour harmonising, and the final verifications—each step is a delicate dance. A symphony of reassurances, last-minute adjustments, and the strategic curation of available florals constitute the silent prelude before the floral crescendo.
Working with fresh flowers demands meticulous attention to detail. Each variety requires specific care, and I ensure that everything is just right, from sealing and wiring stems to strategic bouquet selection. The unpredictability of flower availability is acknowledged, communicated transparently with clients, and adjustments are made as needed. The journey extends beyond, to the bustling marketplace, where a three-hour return trip, meticulously timed with the uncertainty of weather, unfolds. With utmost discernment, I select and collect the most impeccable blooms, embarking on a return journey that completes the narrative.
Back in the studio, the process of conditioning commences— preparations of stems for each individual bloom, buckets filled with the pure essence of Kangan Water, ready to hydrate the many bunches of florals and foliage.
Commitment to the nature of fresh flowers demands a bespoke approach. Every variety, each blossom, requires a tailored environment. Roses for example, destined for boutonnieres and corsages, bask in a cool sanctuary, their stems delicately sealed to preserve vitality. The choreography unfolds perfectly; the finale reserved for the completion of bridal bouquets and bridesmaid's posies, with each design earning my exacting approval.
Yet, in the realm of floral artistry, uncertainties are the undercurrents. The canvas is shaped but a day before and the day of the wedding, and the month-long lead-up planning may encounter unforeseen variables. Yet, in this delicate dance of creation, no bride has known disappointment in my work. It's a testament to the harmony I share with beautiful clients, and a testament to transparent communication that prepares them for the possibility of floral unavailability.
For me, this is not merely a profession; it is a love affair with art. I genuinely love what I do, and the freedom in my life allows me to pursue this passion more frequently. I indulge in the symphony of petals more frequently. Here, within the delicate placement of each bloom, my heart finds alignment and purpose.
Please Enjoy,
Much Love
